The Centre for Women’s Studies was established in the year 2017.

To help others, especially women, shape in their respective discipline.

To empower women through education and field work training programmes, kindling their potential, and improving their life style.
To create awareness to women about their rights and support them in exercising such rights.

Mission:

To mould women to empower other women.
To enhance knowledge about gender issues through teaching and field works/workshops.
To strive to empower women to understand, recountze and exhibit their multi-dimensional roles.
To disseminate knowledge related to women’s issues and deliver academic service through “Certificate Course in Women’s Studies (CCWS)”

Objectives:
To empower women leading to self-employment opportunities, train in Entrepreneurial Skills, promoting socio-economical independence.

To educate women studies students becoming graduates who have competence at standard level, contemplation, and sagaciousness, and adhere to goodness, ethics and public consciousness.
